My last term in school was extremely stressful. Most of my days were spent sitting in front of my laptop watching tutorials and making digital art. It was exhausting to say the least so I thought about making something traditional to change things up a bit. I whipped out my sketchbook that was left untouched since my drawing class and a dollar store pen then started drawing random objects I found lying around the house. Some days, I'd draw only one object, and some days, I'd draw up to seven. Some drawings didn't end up the way I wanted them to and some were surprisingly accurate to the reference. No pressure whatsoever. After all, this project was meant to be a relaxing exercise that served as a break from the digital world. Next thing I knew, I had filled up the entire 18 x 24 inch page and I had used up one of my pens. It was a very satisfying experience and I highly recommend everyone who needs a change of pace to try something like this.
